reign of power/fire
« on: June 03, 2013, 08:06:26 AM »
When the reign of fire was out, it was a ball with a strong backed read with the r2s solid. I was hoping to see something similar with the reign of power. However, it seems to be very smooth. Why is this?

Because of the change in cover.

PFT is a much, much stronger cover than R2S.  Blended, smooth motion is an understatment.

But this cover does need quite a bit of oil doesn't it?

The PFT cover is great for blending out heavy oil in the fronts, with squeaky clean backends. Once the pattern starts to go through transition, the R2S will clear the front better, and store more energy down lane. The NRG cover and the R2X cover seem to do the best on true heavy oil and not as clean of backends, or slicker lane surfaces like pro-anvilane. Reactor is the most skid-flippy of the current covers in the line.
