Shift versus NV
« on: February 21, 2007, 12:34:58 AM »
Any thoughts as to the difference between these 2 balls?  I am guessing the NV will be more of a hockey stick flip more so than the Shift?  I am wondering which one would fit better for a new benchmark ball for me.  I am a medium speed tweener.  Have had good luck with the original green Xception by Track.

Thanks for the input...........

I have only seen one Shift and that thing turns very hard in the backend.  I would say more that the Domination.  for a benchmark ball the total NV would probably be better than the shift as you can drill it to roll in mids without the crazy backend.

If you look at my profile you'll see that I use and own a ton of Storm equipment.  All of it great stuff!  However, I just purchased the Total NV and I can tell you that I'm very, very impressed with it's movement and hitting power.  I'd suggest you give it a try....

The Total NV appears to be a more popular ball in my area at the moment.

Ebonite is getting more exposure on TV at the moment with PA and JC.  People are powerless to buy anything else.  Storm had a big run on TV this year but now it seems PA is on TV every week with Jason Couch.  Of course everyone is going to run out and buy the newest Ebonite ball.

I saw a TNV rolling and I didn't quite get the hype but I only saw a few throws.

I've seen both. The TNV reads the lanes earlier than the Shift. The shift has more length. They cover probably the same number of boards.

Post topic says NV, do you mean TNV?
