Just bought a Special Agent.  Has anyone used one yet?  Do you like it?  How does it roll and on what lane conditions have you had success with it?  Thanks!!

Here's my review from November 9, 2006:

Since it's not available to post on this site yet, I opted to post here for your reading and viewing pleasure.

Purchased the SPECIAL AGENT from Mike Miller of 10 Pins and More in Rio Rancho, NM today Nov. 9, 2006. Ball Specs are as follows: 15lb. 3oz. 3.10 oz of TW before drilling and a 3.0" pin, ball is laid out with pin above and right of the ring finger (at around 2 o'clock from ring finger)) with a weight hole 6.0" from grip CL through the CG. Threw the ball on 38' of oil buffed to 45' with OB outside the 8 board using CONTROL oil. Current lane conditions were just after very light league play (only one team bowled on the pair I practiced on). Compared this ball to my DOMINATION, AGENT, and DOUBLE AGENT (all OOB condition). OOB the SPECIAL AGENT is about 4 boards stronger than the DOUBLE AGENT, it is much stronger in the midlane and overall hook than the AGENT and DOMINATION, but of course not as angular as the DOMINATION and AGENT. The SPECIAL AGENT was evidently much more stronger over the entire length of the lane, similar to the TRIPLE EXTREME, VERTIGO and PASSION in their primes. The ball does cover quite a few more boards than anything in my current line-up, but then again that could be due to "New Ball Syndrome". I am hoping this new coverstock will keep me turned-on to STORM Solid Reactives. In the past I have had mixed reviews with the Solids, maybe it's just that I don't match up well with them or I seem to experience a little ball death with them (even after extensive cleaning instructions I received directly from STORM). I will post another review later on after the ball tames down a bit or after tinkering with the coverstock.

Overall this ball revs up beautifully and carrys extremely well.

I bought one monday and through it the last two nights I went in to practice and I have to say I am impressed with this ball. I bowled after a league of guys so there was some carry down on but not a lot. played around with a couple different shots from like the 4-5 board area and even in close around 14-15 range and this ball revs up really nice and is strong the whole way through. I was comparing it to the paradigm domination and it hooks sooner but I think overall it hooks a couple more boards and hits nice and carrys very well. I am impressed with both my domination and also the secret agent. I would recomend them to anybody who was looking to buy a new ball.
