STORM ADDRESSES THE RUMORS
For immediate release - Brigham City, UT: Storm Products, Inc. would like to take this opportunity to officially address several misplaced comments which have led to rumors making STORM a topic of discussion over the past week:
1.   Storm Products, Inc. and all of its affiliate brands (Roto Grip & Dyno-Thane) have NOT been sold.
2.   Storm Products, Inc. is solely owned by the Chrisman family making it a true “Mom and Pop” company.
3.   All Storm, Roto Grip, & Dyno-Thane Performance bowling balls (High Performance – Low Performance) are currently and have always been manufactured in Brigham City, UT.  We have not used and do not plan to use other manufacturers’ materials.  It is true that, due to our manufacturing being at maximum capacity, we have visited with other manufacturers to produce our lower end bowling balls.  If we do come to a decision to have another manufacturer produce our low end products, they will use our materials and designs to STORM specifications or not at all.
4.   Due to substandard core resin, we have had some quality issues in regards to the Passions and Paradigms.  This has been addressed and these products are currently in production.  Once our orders and stock levels have been filled, we will resume the world-wide release of the new Passion.
5.   We appreciate and want to thank all the loyal STORM customers we’ve heard from regarding their concerns. We’re here and we look forward to serving you in the future.
6.   To those that are perpetuating these rumors, thanks for the attention.
7.   If anyone has any questions/comments, ask us. We can be reached at 1-800-369-4402.

Sincerely,

Dave Symes               Wes Pye

I just asked them about the rumors yesterday via their web site.  It's nice to see a firm response from the company.

As with all things, this is my opinion. And we all know, opinions are like butt-holes, we all have one.

Wow.....gotta love an upfront, to the point answer.
I don't think we would expect or accept anything less from STORM.
They are truly THE BOWLERS COMPANY.
