Storm Gurus Lightning Storm

Hey guys I accidently deleted the topic on which ball of today would be comparable to the old lightning storm.

I also agree with your responses, being either the Jolt solid and or Thunderstruck.

My opinion:
The Jolt solid is probably closest ON TODAY'S OIL, but is a stronger ball in general. Accu-Tread is a stronger cover material and the Jolt has a high RG differential than the Lightning.

Remember that the Lightning came 320 grit VERY DULL, and used solid Curelyon (I think). Most people had to sand the ball to a higher grit AND/or add some polish to get a reaction that did not hook at  your feet.

In theory, the Titan SE or the Super Trooper are closer, on absolute basis, in design to the Lightning than any current Storm ball.
