SUPER NATURAL review by Storm staffer Jeff Richgels

Really liking what I am seeing of the SUPER NATURAL so far. Nice blend of control and just enough oomph. Also my new spare ball, replacing my polyester SOCCER BALL.

Hi, I hope you guys dont mind me jumping in here. I currently am using a Roto-Grip Grenade (urethane) which I love, so I  find that ball works so well for me at where I bowl but its usually for the 3rd game only.

So I am wanting another urethane ball for the 2nd game when oil permits :) so in my search it seems that the STORM SN or the MOTIV Tank should fit the bill. So have any of you tried the Roto-Grip Grenade and the STORM SN? if so is the STORM SN stronger then the Roto-Grip Grenade?

I'm thinking that the STORM SN comes polished so taking off the polish probably would make it turn up a little sooner. Thanks for your input, Jake

Haven't tried GRENADE so can't compare. But taking shine off SUPER NATURAL will make it start earlier for sure.

Yessir!!!!!! LOL! Loving mine with a 1500 pad applied. Easy to read, smooth reaction, and best of all doesnt flat 7. Makes me earn my strikes but I do have a little miss room.

I got mine at 1000 matte finish, ball is an absolute beauty for sport shots WTBA stockholm, wtba sidney, wtba los angeles, cheetah, wolf. It is amazing ball hits like a beast and is smooth and very predictable.
Amazing ball by Storm, I generally didnt buy Storm for short given how snappy they are and how i like my ball to roll into the pocket in short, this ball does it. Reactionwise, compared to the Grenade by Roto, The Super is Longer and smoother and gives you a larger "miss area" My Grenade really was good, but the super natural gives me what I was looking for something smoother and longer, that hits like a beast. I am a rev dominant player with speed and the grenade would leave me tons of 10 pins and the reaction back at the deck really wasnt as amazing as it is with the supernatural.
I bowled a 730 series on short wtb stockholm, which really isnt easy for me given my higher revs, i usually have these series on much longer oil patterns. But the supernatural makes it easy and gives me a small miss area that any bowler can appreciate. This ball is really a homerun for short by storm.

How does the Super Natural compare to the Natural Pearl?

Thanks for the replies, since I'm a retired old fart now the Grenade works great for me :)

but not enough ooomph for the 2nd game thats why I thought about trying stronger urethane...urethanes are just so smooooth and controllable.

The natural pearl is long and snappy, to me the super natural with 1000 abralon will read a lot better on midlane and go smoothly into the pocket.  OOB it is also not as snappy and reads the midlane better. If you like to play a str8 line and watch it break hard then the nat pearl is great, if you are like me and like the ball to roll onto the deck in short then the supernatural is really amazing
