T-Road Pearl
« on: August 05, 2007, 09:54:28 AM »
I was thinking of getting one to go between my Paradigm and Tropical Storm. The Paradigm is polished by Bean's secret sauce and the Tropical is at 2000 polished. Does anyone think this ball would fit well between the two? I'm mainly looking to use this ball for med/light conditions. I was thinking of drilling it just like my Widow, which is pin above bridge and MB to the right of the thumb.

Sounds like a winner...I really like mine for lighter conditions.  It kicks a bit on the back, but definitely clears the heads pretty well.

That's good to hear. I know the RS2 coverstock is pretty strong, but I can't see the ball being stronger than a Paradigm. How is yours drilled?

Mine is pretty basic...pin under bridge cg out, small hole near my PAP.  I keep it shiny but prefer it with about a 10 game track in it....lol

Good luck!

I want my T-Road Pearl to go long and snap, so I was thinking pin over bridge, but I don't want it to be too strong.

Yeah if you want more length put the pin up, mine is down because I wanted to use it to play straighter angles on hookin conditions.

I think you can't go wrong either way.

How much weaker do you think it'd be than my Widow with the same drill? 4000 abralon on the Widow.

I have a BW w/the pin above the bridge and the MB near my thumb.  It is drilled weaker and is still 10+ boards stronger than my T-Road.  They are VERY different ball motions and fit completely different holes in my arsenal.

Those are two balls you don't have to remotely worry about being the same.
