T-Road Pearl or Thunderstruck Pearl?
« on: November 26, 2006, 09:42:08 AM »
Im revamping this Christmas because I finally got my pitches correct and Im moving up a weight.

Im getting the:

Special Agent (Heavy)
Domination (Backend)
Thunderstruck Solid (Arc)
Spit Fire (Rolly)

Columbia (Control Balls):
Jinx (Skid Snap) and Hijinx (Hard Arc)

What would be my better option for a pearl... the T-Road Pearl or the Thunderstruck Pearl?

Can you give us a description of your game please?

I would say that the Thunderstruck solid is quite flippy, I wouldnt call it an Arc type ball at all. For me (with pin above fingers 5in) it gets up the lane pretty clean and flips hard.

That aside, I completely agree with the 4 ball storm Arsenal. That is close to what I personally would go with if I was throwing all Storm, but might put the Jolt Pearl in at the bottom. As far as the Columbia's go, a friend of mine has drilled a couple of Hijinx's and I would have to say they backend pretty hard too. Great looking ball.

I've liked the Jinx!

For me it would boil down to whether I liked red(storm) or blue..
(columbia).

Important part of the decision!
