T road Solid
« on: October 15, 2007, 02:59:32 PM »
My sister has a T-Road Solid, got it drilled on Wednesday, has bowled with it, Wednesday, Friday and then tonight. This totals about, 11 games in all.

today she noticed that there were about a dozen gouges in the ball,

These do not look like marks from a loose bolt, or a problem with a machine, put more like compression fractures, with small bubbles, I took some cell phone pics and will post a link later.

is there any knowledge of an defective runs of T road solids?

any one else have this type of problems?

First that I've heard of a problem like that...

...it's possible that there were air bubbles in the coverstock.  If it's a concern I would take it back to the shop that she purchased it from to see if they could get it replaced.

I have had some problems with this ball getting scraped up easy.  I figured because of the dull surface it was getting messed up in the ball return.

Thats what we figured too, she bought it off of Buddies, and is using it for a tournament this weekend, so she is getting them sanded out.  I if it happens again then she is gonna contact buddies to see if we can get it replaced.
