T-Road Solid VS Gamebreaker

i have the t road solid and have thrown a game breaker. The T Road is smoother roll in my opinion and the game breaker was a lil jumpy on the back end. They both hit nice and hard, but in my opinion the T road is a better ball for the money.

Gamebreaker is really condition specific, even with polish.. If the shot is breaking down, or you hit an dry board too early, its going to jump.. T-Road Solid is definatly the way to go in my opinoon..

Sounds like the Gamebreaker is more jumpy compared
the T-Road Solid which is more archy from everyone's views.

But the Gamebreaker only has a life-span of about 30 games, even with cleaning after every set..

All 3 of us pro-shop guys had one, and sold it after 30 games had been completed.

Very condition specific ball.. If there wasn't enough oil, it would just roll out.. Very sensitive coverstock, that had to be kept veryy clean... My Pro-Shop director's he had used for about 50-60 games, was dead.. Resurfaced, rejuvinated, etc..

Jonathan,

I took one of mine up to 4000 with a used abralon pad. This thing looks factory polished. I get better length with it since then. I have a sceond that I had drilled pin under and have since plugged it and drilled it with the pin up. I shot 700 out of the box with it pin up and 1000 abralon. IMO this is a sleeper Storm ball and has great value and versatility.

Angular. Even in box condition is very strong downlane for being a solid, adding polish gets it even cleaner through the mids and gets even stronger off the dry.

After throwing mine polished, I couldn't imagine throwing the pearl shiney.

I track very high and the pin under lay outs hook/stop too much on me. I get very little continuation with them. I also have no problem getting the ball to roll which some of the pin under layouts do.

I have been into the Dual Angle Layout theories for about a month and going back an reaccessing some of the balls that I have really liked in the past 2 years. Almost every one of them was a pin up drilling.

You should really like the T-Road Solid. Plus at that price, it is cheaper to add a second one if you really like what you get.
