tell me about the Passion
« on: November 04, 2009, 01:30:24 AM »
Could someone please tell me the specs on this ball? What is the core like? What's the cover composition, etc.

Two people on my team last nite, were absolutely tearing it up with these balls, and I don't even remember them hitting the market!

I still have one that I use every once and a while. The Passion was Storm answer to Brunswick's Ultimate Inferno. It is a low RG, high diff, asymmetrical reactive ball. Storm also has a overseas version called a Passion Lust. I have one NIB. Its pretty heavily polished. Very consistent, great cover/ core match.

Thank you very much.

Is this cover pearlized or is it a solid?

Thanks very much JohnN and machine, for your replies. I was having a little trouble looking this one up.

My favorite Storm ball ever.  I was bowling at a house with a thick THS, and this ball helped me carry corners like there was no tomorrow.  Ball never ever had trouble getting into a roll and finishing strong in the back.

I have this and a Virtual Gravity...they cover about the same amount of boards but the Passion is way earlier rolling and way more even.  The VG is pretty angular for a solid ball.
