You know, you can always delete a post. Of course, in this case, since you started the topic, it will delete my reply, but you have that option open to you. Or, if you don't want any replies, you can lock the topic. That way it would stay on the site, but drop off the most current posts listing. Any replies posted before you locked it would stay also.
Feel free to experiment with either option on this post.
