Virtual Gravity at 500?
« on: June 11, 2009, 07:12:55 AM »
Does anyone keep theirs at 500 abralon? I have lower revs and a bit of axis rotation, so I might need it this dull when I encounter that longer and heavier volume patterns. 500 is pretty dull, I'm curious if anyone was/is able to use it at this grit. Thanks.

500 was too early for me - I keep mine at 1000.  I have tried mine at box, 2000, 1000, and 500 and at 1000 it is a killer oiler.  I would consider myself a medium rev. guy (around 330) so if you are in the 200s maybe 500 would work in long/heavy oil.

Have thrown one of mine at 500 (by hand) on a very heavy fresh Shark.  Only time I could do that.

My teammate Gail Myers Jr. shot 739 in team at USBC with a 500 VIRTUAL but he is great at throwing it hard and getting it down the lane.
