Virtual Gravity Color Patterns
« on: December 22, 2008, 02:13:35 AM »
For those that got them, are your colors resembling the stock photo of these balls?  I like the ones in the videos with lots of orange and blue and it also simulates higher rev rate when going down the lane.  I got a Black Widow and there is almost no red on the ball at all.

Just wondering if the same possiblity can happen with the VG.

Thanks.

I just saw one that had 70 percent orange with hardly any blue, looked pretty cool.

Yeah I wish the balls were more consistent in their color.  The colors of the VG are awesome, but if you only get 1 or the other, then you kind of get screwed.  I had 2 BW's and both were like 99% black.  I gave one away because I got screwed on both balls and just drilled one.

EDIT: This is how I wish my BW looked like:

Instead mine is all black.

I have seen a coupla Virtuals. Everyone I have seen but mine has had a ton of orange in it. The orange really stands out in it but my ball is 3/4 blue/black. I really like the orange in the ball so of course mine didnt have any.

The colors aren't as spread out from what I've seen.  But for the most part the color design is still pretty cool and there has been enough of each color.

My VG is swirled around pretty well.  But the orange is mainly on on part of the ball, with the black on the other... blue is spread out all over the ball.  Regardless, it looks pretty awesome.

Everyone that I have seen has an explosion of Orange in one spot and contrary to belief, those folks throwing those with a medium rev rate immediately look like they have no rev rate because that spot is so identifiable down the lane.  Mine has very little orange through it and its perfect because I prefer not to see how bad I just hit the ball at the bottom of the swing.
