Your Fav. Sport Condition Ball
« on: October 09, 2003, 04:32:26 AM »
I'm looking for a ball that is consistent on sport shots. I have medium speed (17-19mph avg) and medium revs.  I'm looking for a consisten predictable ball that can recover but not start up early.  Thanks

More information is needed given that sport-compliant conditions run the gamut from short dry to long wet...recommendations for playing each are going to be very different.  Mild drills on anything tend to enhance the predictability.

michelle--Not to thread jack but this is in th same vein.  Your preference is Roto Grip or use to be.  Which of that line <Roto Grip> do you prefer on a flat condition when you are inside <around 4th> to say 12 board on stripped back ends? Maybe Sonic X or anything else?

I have used Purple Ex. with no success ball starts to early and with any drilling just starts to early. Playing right nearer OB is not an option as speed would have to be around 24 as I am speaking of a shorter sport/flat condition.

Your thoughts please.

Thanks,
Scott

monster smashr... drilled pin under ring, cg below. such a consistent reaction and always predictable. very similar to my fav. ball of all time, the command zone arc, which i would put as my fav. but then u wuld complain that i need a modern ball to go off of.

I'd have to say a shot where longer oil and carry down occurs, but has dry middle and wet outsides.
