Won a free ball
« on: June 19, 2015, 05:54:07 PM »
I won a free Storm or Roto Grip ball of my choice in a raffle the other night and i'm not sure what ball to get. the first balls that popped into my mind were the crux pearl or the hyper cell. As of right now these are the balls that I have

Crux-OOB
Hy-Road Solid-500 polish
IQ Tour Solid-OOB
IQ Tour Fusion-OOB
Hyper Cell Skid-OOB
Rocket-TBD
Uproar-OOB

If I got the hyper cell I would put a really heavy grit on it if I ever run into anything that is absolutely drenched in oil. The crux pearl I would make earlier than my skid for when my skid is just a tad to long and is a little lazy off the corner.

I was hoping to get others advice on what my ideas as well as any other balls that may be worth getting for different looks on different lanes.

There isn't a deadline that I have to decide by for the ball

There will be several new balls announced late next week, you may want to wait until then.

You may also want to consider the new Optimus Solid.  It would be a good step down from your Crux but still handle a decent amount of oil.  I am a huge fan of R2X Solid covers as the best cover out there for fresh medium-heavy shots.
