I agree with the summer thing plus I think that the success that Hammer has been enjoying has taken some bowlers from Storm over to Hammer. Also AMF with some current  great balls has enjoyed more success than in the past and then there is the new 900 Global line that has taken away some bowlers from other companies. With these factors plus maybe a few others, I don't think that Storm is as popular as it once was. Take myself for example, I used to throw Storm a a lot, but then quit and haven't thrown Storm again for quite some time until my recent purchase of the Rapid Fire Solid.

The Dimension and Gravity Shift have brought some people back.  You also have to look at Roto's success some.
