Just wondering why it seems most people were somewhat disappointed with this ball.  Seems like it got a few votes for worst ball of 2003, and it is interesting to me that this is one of the few balls released by a major company in it's high performance category, that seemed to have no advertising or flyers at it's release.  All of the other X-Factor's, Throttles, Apex's, Freak line, whatever seems to have some advertising on each release, except for the Re-Loaded.  Maybe Storm had a feeling this would not be one of their better releases.  I have one, and right now it's working ok, a few nice games with it, but it is inconsistent for me, just wondering what some others thoughts were and why.

The X-Factor Re-Loaded only matches up well for me on a heavier, longer pattern.  Otherwise, once the lanes begin breaking down, I have a hard time finding enough oil (even if I move way inside) to keep this ball from over reacting.  It was not presented to me as a heavy-oil ball, so my dissappointment stems from a misrepresentation, not the ball's performance.  It has become a niche ball for heavy oil lanes.

Contrary to your beliefs I never saw one Storm ad for the Re-Loaded.  I'm not trying to use the ball on dry, if you had bothered to ask you would know that, I use it on medium to heavy oil, sometimes with carrydown sometimes with good backends.  Talk to the people who thought it was a piece of garbage, I never said that, I thought it is an ok ball that is still in my bag right now and I'm learning about.  Read the post, and answer the topic stated before guessing what I'm thinking.

No offense, but is there a translator in the house?

P.S. -- I like my Reloaded (one of the few around here that does).  I need to use it on fairly slick lanes (in this area I never see tons of oil)(sorry for all the brackets).

If the lanes are slick I can get it to finish stronger than the El Nino X-It and that's why I've got it in the bag.

I recently have drilled up a Reloaded for myself. So far it does exactly what
I want it to do. Pin under ring finger and CG kicked out about 2 inches. This ball has a great midlane roll and a sweeping continuous arc to the pocket. The wood lanes I bowl on seldom see the Reloaded do to lack of oil, but when you get this ball on synthetics watch out. I am still getting used to the reaction but I like this ball so far.

This is what I was looking for, not necessarily for people to bash the ball, or stand up for the Storm name, but rather whether you liked it or not, to give reasons why.  It's not my favorite ball, but it's done well enough to stay in the bag for now.  It is a very interesting ball in that it runs the gammit from being a total disaster for some, and the best ball others have ever had.  Real love it or hate it ball, it seems.  Thanks for all of the feedback so far.

In my hands, I felt the reload in box condition was too close to the deuce. Polished it was too close to the x factor. I felt that in my arsenal I was better off with another deuce polished because it truly fit between my revier(don't know if there is such a word-lol) deuce and x factor. I feel the deuce and x factor is stronger in the back than the reload. I must admit though, I have been tempted to drill another reload.

Indeed funny all the different opinions..

For me the Re-loaded works great.  Most people who know me and play tournaments with or against me say I am a Buzzhead.  For my play Saws work great. But at one day someone gave me this NIB Re-loaded to try.

Till that moment I never cared much about Storm, but I decided to gave it a try at a tournament. And omg.. What a suprise this ball was. I loved the way it cleared the heads for a particle. Love the way it reads and reacts on the midlane, But even more I love the reaction on the backend. With my type of game (tweener) it has a very consistend but strong backend. Hardly an overreaction and still keeping its carry.

This ball helped me perform on a couple of very though conditions.
