Track is bringing back the Heat! Track is reintroducing the Upper Mid-Performance Heat Solid bowling ball with a Modified Tri-Core and a DR-7 Solid coverstock which is finished with a 2000 Siaair pad. This version of the Heat will offer ample hook on medium oil conditions making it ideal for a tournament bowler's bag. This mid-priced ball offers great value and great performance.

Likes: So I've had this ball a couple weeks now and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it carries from multiple attack angles. I used it on a burnt out 52' Badger pattern and in 2 different houses on typical house shots. Whether I'm up the lane or tilting it around the corner it just carries well. I really don't seem to have to shoot too many back row spares when this ball is in play. It is a very smooth arcing symmetric cored, solid covered piece that will do well on most medium oil shots.

COMMENTS

Likes:  This ball is one of the few benchmark balls at this price point.  This Heat gives you the typical clean up front and good pop on the back reaction this line is known for.  Very predictable and consistent.  Great shelf appeal as well.  I can see this ball coming into play on a variety if conditions.  Reacts very well to surface changes as well.

Dislikes:  Only thing I am seeing is it picks up a lane shine pretty quick so make sure you keep it clean with a fresh surface.

I loved the Heat series when released in the past. The new Heat is definately a slightly stronger version and is an awesome benchmark ball for most lane patterns. I took mine up to 3000 abralon, cause I need a little more length for the high friction that I bowl on in SW Florida area. I truly enjoy the motion that I see with this one that is still strong enough when I need to chase the oil inside if needed & still offers a strong/controllable motion down the lane. I have seen several types of bowlers use this ball and very impressed with how it rolls for various styles. Strong & controllable with a little pop down the lane. The new Heat will be a great addition to your bag for various medium lane patterns and will help blend the over/under on a typical house pattern.

The Tri-Core is back baby!  The Heat has an updated Tri-Core and that is one of my favorite retro cores.  The old saying was, a core, in a core, in a core. Change one density in the Tri-Core, and get a completely different ball. OK, enough of my fan boy gibberish.  The Heat is Tracks benchmark solid, designed with medium oil patterns in mind. I drilled mine 45° x 5.5" x 45°, my go to layout, and let's just say the Tri-Core fan in me is in love. Predictable, smooth, powerful, and pretty. The reaction is everything I remembered, and the versatility is still there.

I was surprised by just how strong this ball was when I first threw it. It’s stronger but extremely controllable on a typical house shot and I have been able to throw it all night while only moving 4-5 boards at the most by the end of the night. Perfect ball for the first ball out of your bag and if you are in the market for a benchmark ball then look no further.
