Go to bowlingball reviews.com and click on dicontinued balls, go to Track. go to page 4, you will see the ball Triton Heat. This is the ball in question, it is a remake of the orignal Triton Heat.

WHAT!!!

In the beginning, if I recall, there was the:  Ocean Blue followed by the Coral Triton and then the best of them all the Triton Heat.

There were two Tritons but there can only be one Heat!!!  I am a bit confused when you say the Triton Heat is a remake of The Triton Heat???

There was one red Heat, the original; there was no re-issue. Whether it was actually part of the Triton line is a moot point. The original was a pearl.
The Threat was supposed to be its currrent re-incarnation; it did not turn out to be that. The Triple Threat was actually the closest to being a "new" Heat, based on its performance parameters.

I believe the orignal Heat didnot have " mica " in the coverstock, that is why I called it the 2nd generation Heat.

Maybe " New Guy " can shed some light on this, since he was at the helm during that time period.
