3 series?
« on: December 22, 2009, 10:58:12 PM »
I've heard some rumors here and there that Track is working / coming out with a 3 series...anyone heard something similar?  While it partially goes against what I remember Track saying when the numbered series came out...it REALLY seems to be a good idea to give their staffer's something less agressive in the current line-up.  I know one staffer that is keeps going back to his kenetic pearl everytime he needs more push than the 505A will give him.

It wouldn't hurt to have something similar to say the avalanche series of Brunswick in terms of a medium core and a mild cover. I love my avalanche pearl when the lanes get a little dry/jumpy and the 505 is still too much.

But most staff guys can drill a couple of everything and easily have a 5 series to go much longer then anything else and be controllable on the backends. If he is still going to the KP it is because its a great ball he likes not that he couldn't drill something else to match it. (if i were guessing)

The idea is on the table. Nothing in writing yet!

Well they have Razor's Tornado's and the Freeze line.   Actually I think it's a great idea....

I remember, cause I'm old,  when Storm did not have entry level balls....Now their Tropicals are huge sellers... And they introduce new bowlers to the Storm line who might not have been familiar with their line...

The same thing applies to Track... Most entry level bowlers are not familiar with Track...

Storm always seemed to just cater to the elite bowler... Now they know that many new bowlers by balls.....

You know, not everyone is a  Mr 220.... There are actually bowlers out there that average 180 or less... Who spend money for equipment....

Really, it was in all the papers...
