300/822 sighting tonight with Track
« on: June 23, 2005, 03:23:35 PM »
Of course Mr. Modest himself isn't going to tell you guys , but Anthony Chapman(Achappy to the Track Pack) was in prime form tonight as he fired off an 822 set with a variety of Track balls in league tonight, ending the set with a 300 with his Desert Heat.  He was a few pairs down from me so I didn't quite get to see what else he was throwing the first two games, but I did catch the 9th and 10th frames of the 300 and he completely destroyed the rack with Herculean strength each shot to put the exclaimation point on a night of high scoring.

Congrats Tony!  The new stuff really looks good in your hands.

Way to go Anthony!!! How many 300's does that make in your career? As well as 800's...

I was lucky enough to witness this man during his college bowling years when we would bowl some of the bigger tournaments on the East Coast as well as sectionals- what a great bowler...

Good job Anthony!

PS-  DJ, where (state) do you and Anthony bowl?  Aren't you near DC or something?

Thanks guys (I'll get you later DP)!  I had a good matchup tonight by using the Aggressive the first two games.  The track started to really hook towards the end of the 2nd game and I knew that I would have to chase the oil the last game and suffer carry issues so I just jumped about 10 right with the Desert and had a great reaction.  So far, 2 sanction games of 289/300 with the Desert.  Not too bad  The carry has been phenomenal with this ball so far because I can get so close to the friction and take advantage of the outside angles.

I'm going to start calling it the Sunkist ball!

Hector:  I'll see you tomorrow in the fun and sun!  You better chase all the rain away.
