715T initial impressions
« on: October 19, 2010, 08:42:00 PM »
Took my 715T to the lanes for league tonight.  This house has less oil outside of 10 than the house I tried it in on Sunday AM.

I started around 12 to 8, with my hand on the side of the ball trying to get alittle push thru the fronts early.  After a practice and a few frames, it was pushing alittle too far, so I went behind the ball alittle more to get an earlier read.  Posted 259 the first game with a blower 7 in the 9th.

The next game, it began reading alittle early, so jumped 2 and 2 left but that yield back to back weak 10s.  Moved alittle back to the right and more to the side again..only to lose my breakpoint further.  I switched balls to the Freeze.

That switch lasted the remainder of game 2 with lack luster results.  Decided to make a 5 board move inside to get away from the over/under.  Still using the Freeze, but it lacked the traction in the oil to hit consistently.  Switched back to the 715T, moved another 2 and 1 left and finished the game.

Overall, the best Assy cored ball I''ve drilled in awhile.  It looked pretty good the deeper I got.  The strong midlane but controllable/readable motion.  Carry was good.  I was considering a surface change to 4K so that I could use it alittle longer.

Perhaps I''ll do up a video this weekend, comparing my 715T, Freeze, etc.
