Aggressive Update
« on: April 03, 2006, 06:08:36 PM »
Now that we've started putting out a slightly heavier condition here(oil 30, buff 40 double oil, 2nd pass oil 30 buff 40 single oil,  go the Century100!!!) I can see where this ball has some additional strengths and a slight weakness. With this little bit heavier condition the Aggressive clears the heads far easier and still turns over hard in the back(it actually gets to the breakpoint now even with a bit stronger release) Now with this heavier volume of oil comes the spectre of carrydown from the low flare stuff getting fired up the middle of the lane when i'm trying to play up between 5-10 board. The ways around this were stay on the same line and pull out the box finsh Phenom(runs through the carrydown like it doesnt exist) Or head back to inside the 4th arrow and play inside the mess down the back(worked quite well with the Aggressive, Phenom and even my 2 1/2" pin to PAP drilled Elite pearl which has made its usual reappearence in the bag) At least i know i havent got an overlap in the bag with those 2 now. Ah well, maybe i'll double wash the backends next week instead of just double drying them and see what happens

Once again I will say, the Aggressive is one of those balls that a few years down the road you will still see them in bags being used...its that good!
