Animal Mini Review
« on: September 29, 2004, 02:05:52 PM »
Although most faithful Track users have one by now, I will still give my input based off a few weeks of use. I feel after using everything that was sent to me enough I can compare and contrast between the balls. My stats are 17-18 MPH, very high track (1/8 of an inch from the fingers, 1/16 or less from the thumb). I lay out all my bowling balls exactly the same. The only difference is tops, covers, etc. All balls have the pin just below my ring finger, cg in the palm, mass bias either left of my thumb or under my thumb. Animal #1 has its surface out of box, mass bias under the thumb. My scratch league on Friday nights puts out a decent shot, but 10-10 and outside 10 is BONE dry. I am able to play just inside the track shot with this ball. The ball will skid through the heads (due to polished cover) and has incredible recovery on the backend. I have been able to throw tons of practice games with all my new TRACK EQUIPMENT, but when its time to bowl for the money, this is the first ball out of my bag. Animal #2 has its surface hit with a grey scotchbrite pad, and is this ball an ANIMAL. Absolutely the earliest moving ball Track currently has. If I don't see the Exon Valdez as a lane machine, this ball will not see the lanes. Great ball to have for an option when going to out of town tournaments when you have no idea what to expect. It gives you an option and look on the lanes you would not otherwise have.

As ALWAYS, if anyone has any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to write. I will get back to you as soon as time allows!

Have a great day!
