Favorite current Track ball
« on: September 02, 2003, 11:11:53 PM »
Well after having it for a few weeks now, my favorite current Track ball is my Thrash. This ball is sooo smooth. I love how it retains energy so well for the pins.

Although, I havent thrown the Phenom enough yet to give it a chance, I still love my Thrash right now!!

How am I supposed to knock all 10 down with one ball?!?

Rock,

I am glad that you went with my suggestion after hesitating for awhile on it. Great ball, I still love mine----however the new shot my center is using I will probably not be able to use it much this season.

Currently it is still my favorite Track ball, but that is because I just drilled the Phenom today.

well, it is the only track ball i have but i really am impressed with the mutant.  if you hit the pocket then you are almost assured a strike.  that ball just lays the pins down.  only problem is that i can almost never use it.  it always rolls out on me.  but its good for oil

My favorite so far is the thrash also. Like rock said i love the way it rolls and stores up nice energy for the pins. Smooth constant reaction down the lane.

I also have a phenom which i need to drilled soon....

Id have to say my Thrash..I drilled it almost 2 weeks ago..Its soo smooth and predictable and the carry is outstanding.. First track ball ive tried and im glad i did..Just an outstanding ball..I dont think ive had as much success with any other ball as i have had with this ball..( In practice ) Ive shot around 4-5 700s with it already..One beeing 780 and already a 300..Im hooked on it and im betting that my next ball will be a track ball!!
--------------------
Im as consistent as my ball reaction.
If for every shot my cherry bomb carried a 7 pin id be rich..But im not..Whats that say?

To let everyone know have not throwing a newer Track ball then the Hex so don't know how any of the new ones are. Have switched over to Brunswick due to a good friend working for them. My best Track ball to date of everything I have used is the old Triton TKO. No matter how bad I am in a slump I can pull that ball out and pull myself out of it. That has had the most consistent reaction of ANY Track ball I have used.

The Freak Out and the Revmaster have been my bread and butter balls over the last few months. I also like the Super Freak all though I don't get to use it. I hope Track makes a reactive ball with the Freak Out/Super Freak core so I can make more money this year.

My favorite Track ball has to be the Threat.  This ball "adjusts" itself to the lane condition from medium-dry to medium-oil, it reads the lane and saves energy for the pins.  Light to heavy hits, it clears the deck.  Ball creates area for bowler.  It has amazing ability, considering it is not a big hooker, to recover when thrown wide and also holds line when pulled tight.

My favorite is turning out to be the Triple Threat.  Slight more midlane than the Threat, strong angular backend and handles carrydown better.  Very versatile ball also.

Id have to say right now that the Triple Threat is my favorite, close second is the Phenom. My all time favorite from Track is the Heat 2 solid.

Freak, Freak, Freak, Freak, Mutant, Threat, Freak, Freak, Freak, Freak. Hopefully my point is received. I absolutely LOVE this ball and it's about the best thing that I have had in my hands since the Blue Aftershock from C300. I may try to hunt down a few closeouts when Track stops making them just so I have a few when the one that I have now wears out. As for the occasional person saying that these balls die too quick, I've had mine since it first came out, throw it just about every night that I bowl and it has yet to die.
