For those of you that have thrown both, any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The Heat reads the lane sooner than the EX does. I think their backend reaction is pretty equal, but the solution EX makes its move later. They are really a good 1-2 punch in the med/light-light oil area because they give different looks on the lane.

Carl,

I agree and disagree with you. I agree that the Heat reads sooner but I respectfully disagree with you on backend reaction. My Solution EX has more pop on the back end than my Heat did. I'm not sure if it was because of different layouts, even though I no longer have the Heat, I'm still sure that the two as for me had two different reaction shapes. The Solution I do agree moves later but the backend is incredible as compared to the Heat. Hope this helps you Urethane and Carl..I'm not trying to cause a big fuss over this...God Bless you all and have a great week!

Well here is my real question, I suppose.  I have a Solution Power Plus which is fairly polished.  Given the fact that the EX is more of a blended solid-pearl would there be overlap assuming similar drills?

Michael,

Am I the kind of person that gets angry when some one disagrees with me?

Urethane,
I think there would be a slight overlap as far as overall ability to handle oil/dry on the lane, but they do react differently......so it is definately within thought for someone to have both.

Hey Urethane,

My Solution PP is also polished but it still rolls sooner compared to the EX.  I'd also have to agree that the looks are different, the EX will get down the lane cleaner with more pop on the back compared to the shined up PP.  Hope this helps...
