Hello Legion...
« on: July 09, 2008, 09:40:53 PM »
Hello to my Legion Family,

I know it's been awhile and it may be until I post again but thank you all for your support (bp, Del/Dawn, Fig, pnj, brick, charlest, minbob, bowl400, dpat, scoot, directdrill, steve nagy III, Louf, Rick G, srlunatic, lilwalter, th94501, Aristotle, dw, adrian, buckeyemike, mrbowlingnut, X, Vern and Carl of course and so many more I can't list to whom pm'd me if I was doing okay.)  I apologize if I missed you ....your support was much appreciated.

My separation from Track was mainly my fault as I was very frustrated after having to close my business of 11 yrs and then realizing after 20+ yrs in the business from Chicago to California (which basically yielded me nothing)....I'm still poor..lol (I "needed" and wanted a break).  I posted this before..I was lost.

I didn't know what I wanted to do but my heart has still brought me back to one simple thing...."bowling".  Man, I love this sport.  I don't know how to express how much I missed you guys (Legion) and all I can say is that my heart is still here and I will try my best to always help.

Rick, it is great to hear from my Nephew once again. I've tried Emailing you a number of times, but received no response, so I was guessing your Email may have changed????? If it has, message it to me on this site Nephew.

I've asked Carl a few times how you were doing and he has assured me you were doing fine. I asked Sixcranker to check on you as well as tell you I was still concerned for you when he went to the Nationals and he came back and said you were doing OK.

Please Email me Nephew as we have some "catching up to do"...lol

Hello Rick, it's real good to hear from you again! I hope you're getting through all your hard times, and that everything is coming back together again for ya. I missed seeing you on these boards posting great information on bowling, in general, and all your layout advice you've given me. I'm glad to see everything is ok, though.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

Rick glad your back!

You provide so much knowledge and experience to so many. I agree you need to get back in the game and do what you love to do, it will be great therapy. Don't give you services away though. People should pay for the experience you have. I think you will be suprised how willing people will be to do that. Don't sell yourself short you have a lot to offer.

This is how I run my shop, lessons and so forth. Even my friends and family understand I am in business to make a profit. one awy I have looke at things to be succesful in business I have been involved in is you always have a partner. Even if you don't have phyiscal partner your busines is your partner and it deserves to make money as well. So with this philosphy the business always prospers.

I wish you all the best and it's great to see you back on here.

Rick, hope your time away got you some fresh air.  At some time we all need that.  From the time I met you at Track Camp, I knew you were somebody/something different.  You worked with us pretty much until they forced us off the lanes.  I know it's not the same but your Richness is your knowledge, understandings, and sharing.  It doesn't help pay the mortgage, but you have given to the sport like no other!  Thanks Man
