Power Machine

Hey everybody, i was just wondering how good of a benchmark ball the Power Machine would be. Also, do u think i twould if in between my track equation, and my Pba Inferno. Its a scorchin inferno, drilled 2L on the brunswick drilling sheet. Pin over ring. Thanks.

Walter,

I had the Power Machine and don't think it would make a good benchmark ball.  If you are looking in the older Track line, consider the Inertia.  Had mine drilled pin under ring, 2-3/4" x 2-3/4", surface at 1000 Abralon.  Great benchmark ball.

yes, the p machine is too skid flippy to be a good bench mark ball. I never could get a good read off mine. have taken it out of my bag now...

I thrive on the p/m --- so much i have 3 of them, just found one nib that i will keep for the future. about a benchmark ball, i think it depends on the bowler, how he/she throws it, and what type of drill pattern. again i start with this ball then ill change to something else after i get my read off the p/m's reaction. my opinion, p/m was the best  "san antonio" track ball. to walter-- the p/m will react way different than your equation, not to sure on the s/i though, i dont have one of those. but i believe if you can get a p/m you better not pass it up, you will love it.

Walter,

Another ball to consider is the Machine.  I have two of them and absolutely love them.  I had the Power Machine and personally, I liked the Machine better.  I use my Machine, drilled pin over bridge, 4-1/2" x 4-1/2", 2000 Abralon, in a second shift league with lots of carrydown.  Ball works great on those conditions.  

I prefer either a solid or particle, with some surface (say 1000 or 2000 Abralon) as a benchmark ball.

I too am on my third one and also thrive on this ball. I typically play the lanes like Eugene McCune did two weeks ago(ton of speed, ton of revs). So for me the Power Machine is my benchmark ball. B/w those two balls, I think the Power Machine would fit as far as length, but it is going to turn left without signaling. But that is just my opinion...
