I might need to pick me up one of the equations to replace my crash.

Now that we know what they look like....what lane conditions are they for? Anyone know as of yet? They both look good, I'll say that.

I have yet to receive mine...in fact, this is the first I have seen them and seen the specs on them. However, I did get the Pro Shop Fast Track flyer the other day and it had big Wes and PA on it and they were both throwing a black ball...I wondered if it could be the Mean Machine.......

If that's the case...I wonder if the Mean Machine is meant for heavy oil?

Like the looks of both balls... I think I'm going to pick up an Equation first though when they are ready, as I have to see from others what the Mean Machine will be like and see if it can fit in my bag based on what I have right now...

how about we all wait til official word comes out on exactly what they are, what condition they are for, and what the specs are.

Solid reactives and particle pearls tend to behave similarly.  The pearl in the PP  helps it slide in the oil like the lack of particles in the solid reactive does.  The lack of pearl in the solid reactive helps it read the midlane like the particle does in the particle pearl.  If that makes sense.

Probably a solid reactive Machine would react too much like the particle pearl Machine to justify having both in the lineup right now.  A reactive pearl would be different enough to get away with it without having too much overlap.

OK, George, the Strike Machine is listed as Nanotread Reactive on ABS, and Nano-Thread Reactive on the Track site and I'm not sure if I know my "treads" from my "threads" lol, but Fang is type of particle and Track would not have it in the descrption unless there were particles in the coverstock and I cannot see a pearl reactive, even with the robo core, being listed as a "heavy" oil ball and have a hook rating of 52 on Track's hook chart. If the Mean Machine is a "nanotread" pearl reactive with a hook rating of 52, (the Robo is 43) and is a heavy oil "control" ball, well... I'm sorry, but I just don't think that's possible. Right??
