Phoenix vs. Power Machine vs TNV
« on: May 04, 2007, 08:57:32 AM »
I have a power machine and was considering buy either a Phoenix or a TNV.
Is there anyone that can give me a comparison of the Pheonix and the TNV, comparing their roll and carry with the power machine.

I also have a Mean Machine and Desert Heat.  I like the Track products, but I have heard so much about the TNV, that I am considering it.

Thanks

Charles

Where are you going to find yourself a decently priced Phoenix?  I don't know very much about the Total NV, but I am told it's actually a medium oil ball (medium-heavy at best) with an angular and aggressive move in the backend.  The Mean Machine does basically this (but on heavier volumes of oil, correct me if I am wrong) and between that and the Power Machine, I think you have that area covered.  The Total NV, has also gotten some mixed reviews, but I can't much, I haven't thrown it myself.

What you really need is a benchmark, straight-up, medium oil ball.  If you like Track, you will LOVE the Arsenal Artillery.  10 out of 10, every day of the week!  It has one of the most B-E-A-Utiful strong arcs into the pocket and the carry is outstanding (read my review, should be the first one).  With this addition, you will have a VERY solid Track arsenal.  I actually looked into an arsenal just like that myself:  Mean Machine, Power Machine, Arsenal Artillery, Desert Heat, Flaming T.  Although you may need something above the Mean Machine, for typical league play, you will be able to take on just about all conditions and oil patterns.  Make the right buy!
