Question about old Equipment
« on: June 28, 2010, 10:44:06 PM »
I have recently made the swith from 15 to 16 lb equipment. My father in-law gave me all of his old stuff. He has a Track Synergy Pearl and Track NRg. Was wanting to get some information on these two pieces. Are they even worth drilling? What kind of reaction did you get with yours? Thanks

Synergy Pearl was one of the best balls Track ever made in my opinion..
Put your favorite layout on it and you can't go wrong..

NRg will flare 9", so be careful how you lay that one out. Differential was .078 if I recall.

The Nrg was a flare monster back in the day and Hooked a ton back when it was new. Probably still a decent ball but I remember drilling a bunch for customers when then came out and they flared ALOT.
I would probably drill it with a weaker pin like 4 1/2" or more.

The Synergy you couldnt put a bad layout on. put your favorite on it and let everyone wonder what those 2 balls are. The younger kids wont have any clue LOL

Have Fun
