Rule Delta1 Drilling question
« on: August 26, 2005, 12:35:44 PM »
How would you recommend a stroker drill this ball ?
I have an Arsenal Aggressive drilled stacked leverage, but I think that may be too strong of drill....  I was thinking Label Leverage ?

The term, "Label Leverage", is not applicable to asymmetric core drillings.

Please restate your goal and objectives.

Asymmetric cores need the following specifications for a drilled ball:
1. distance of pin to the bowler's PAP
2. Distance of MB to the bowler's PAP
3. Height of pin above the bowler's midline.

Bowling: Just like hand grenades and horse shoes, you only have to get close.
Life: Deal with what is.

CharlesT hit it right on the head..more info is needed to help you to ensure we get it correct!

However, IN GERERAL, if you get an asymmetrical ball with the pin, cg, and mass bias all in a straight line, then by "drilling label leverage", although the cg means very little on an asymmetrical ball, the pin would fall around your ring finger, the cg would be o or near the center of your grip, and the mass bias would be left of your thumb (if you were right handed). In essence, that is my favorite drill as it lets the ball skid more through the heads and saves more motion for the backend. It would probably start later than the Aggressive, and have more backend move for you.
