Slash/ Xception Combo
« on: November 19, 2004, 02:52:03 AM »
Iam thinking of a SLASH and XCEPTION as my one,two punch combo or does anyone think they will overlap each other.I bowl on a med/heavy oil pattern that breaks down by the third game.I like to play down and in but can swing it if i have to.I throw about fifteen mph if that helps any. Thanks for any help I can get.

Alex,

They do not overlap as far as reaction goes. If you have fresh backends the Xception will move a TON...but if you are on a longer pattern you would probably need to lightly sand the coverstock. The Slash will handle mediums and light heavies decently if you have the proper layout on the ball. A safer move would probably be to go with the Xception and the Freakazoid. The Freakazoid with some surface will cover the longer patterns nicely.....unless you do the most logical thing, which would be to get the Rule and the Xception. They compliment eachother well.
