Super Freak
« on: November 26, 2003, 07:20:42 AM »
I've been reading all these posts on how the ball hooks so much and everything but they've all said that it wan't on real heavy oil.I bowled on lanes today that were so slick that it actually pushed my ball right when I'm right handed. Will the Super Freak still hook on lanes that Heavy?

So does the Unleashed hook more than the Super Freak and Phenom?

phenom take the cake for overall hook.

the unleashed just slides down the lane more with a hard snap to the pocket

the super freak just rolls down the lane with awesome control and gives you a big arch in the back end...probably 3-5 boards less than the phenom(depends on your style).

As Mr Track just stated, the Super Freak wants to roll early causing more of an arc in the backend.  The Phenom has a much stronger backend,  if and when you can get it into a roll (which is necessary) to see the change of direction.  If you try the Super Freak and still can't get it into a roll, you may want to try some negative static weights (negative side or thumb weight).  The negative statics will help the ball stand up sooner and may help you if you have a low track or low rev rate.  Hope this helps...
