balls don't die!
People kill them by not keeping them clean.

ok ok ok.... there are some balls that are very sensitive and finicky about maintenance. Other's just take it without big problems.
pearls in my experience take longer till you need to deep clean them and solid particles are worst ...

whatever...

Bottom line:
Any ball will sooner or later lose hook and carry if you let the oil soak in.
No matter what company... what coverstock... if you don't take care of your stuff its your own fault.

Walter give me your shipping addres. Seeing how you dont want to go out there and pay for a brand new track ball. I am going to take care of you with a ball from the ebonite made track that I own. You can have it, get it plugged and drilled for you. It has been plugged before but it was drilled back in the same spot mostly. I will take the cover to box and everything. Just make sure you have it layed out correct. Or even give me your specs and I will drill it and ship it to you and eat the cost of what is used so you can see the performance from this new track stuff.

...CLASSY move.  If the performance of the equipment doesn't persuade you enough, I'm sure this does.

Make sure you clean them shortly after you bowl your 3-4 games of league. Please dont wait until 5 minutes before the next league session to clean them.

I just had to mention this. I've seen too many people do this, I just sit and scratch my head.

LMAO!

This is exactly what I see here!

Last frame's thrown... all pack up and head home. Only lonely Grayson is still there cleaning his balls.

Next league day:

Grayson comes just in time to get his balls out and up on the approach for warmup.

All others are there already cleaning their balls etc.

Makes me laugh!

I think that is the first time I have heard the weight of the core during an advertisement for a ball. Is 7 pounds around average weight for a core?

Brunswick was earlier with the Twisted Fury...

"Brunswick has added a new twist to the Torsion core concept by producing an Asymmetric version for the Twisted Fury. The symmetric version of the Torsion core used in the original Fury was based on triangular geometry. The Asymmetric version is based on a six-sided polygon. The inner core of a 16-pound Twisted Fury weighs in at 6.36 pounds, resulting in a medium RG that helps push the aggressive EnMotion coverstock down the lane. Brunswick has put a new twist on core design so you can twist it up better on the lanes."

Not that the core weight in itself matters - better look at RG numbers and differential what's the core/filler/Ball combo is capable of

  Mark,

Pretty nice move to get someone to try out track stuff.  Not many ( if ANY ) would do something so noble.

If I said I was afraid of the "ball death" boogieman, would you plug, re-drill, and ship me one too?  J/K

Ball death, as far as I can tell, is a myth.  There is a guy here who takes really good care of his stuff and is still using an original columbia chaos ( yes, the one that was supposed to die from TEC death very quickly ) and it still works well, but, it has been meticulously maintained.

I haven't thrown any track stuff in a while ( BUT, I still use my old coral Triton ), but the new stuff sure has me looking HARD.  Guy here has the Kinetic and just murders the rack with it. Another one has the Rising and it looks as smooth and predictable as my Gamebreaker.

Track may have been a little slower to get up and running, but it looks like Figs was/is really putting some time into getting things right, and the new stuff is really starting to impress me.

Jugg,

The Rising looks smooth and controled on a THS. If you place this thing on a flat pattern or something with real good head oil and a good clean backend, say something like Shark or like I said just a flat oil pattern. You will see this thing turn harder then anything to come off that much oil. Even at 4000 when it comes off the pattern with that much oil and that flat it turns. When I was at State (OH) and the Hoinke. I was the only person in the buildings I was in using the Rising. I was also the only person able to play the part of the lane I was playing. Now how I shot we wont get into because I couldnt stand on my left knee without anything less then 5K mg of pain killers in me. Yet for me the Rising is the perfect ball because of the way it takes to cover changes and the layout options you can have.

Fig has done a fantastic job positioning the brand for a great first year and an even better second year. He has had some amazing idea to put the brand back into the public's eye.
Walter, I gave you the same offer a few month's ago and you never did respond. If you were truly interested in trying to the brand, I would have expected a reply. I gave a few of the balls I was done with to friends and they all love the product. They are looking forward to the new releases. With the seven ball assortment we have after July 15th, we are positioned to cover just about every condition you can encounter.

Dizzy, isn't the 6.36# core weight the same for all 3 ball weights of 14-15-16 lb. balls? Many (most?) companies (Legends/Lanemasters excluded) use the same weight core in all 3 of those ball weights.

Yes I got your address. Just remember you got to get it drilled up right. I am sending you a ball that is in better condition then I planned and it isn't  a lower cost ball. You are getting the thing that in my profile is listed ad being number 4 of the same ball.
