Has anyone else had the 11:30 PM start for doubles & singles? What time did you finish?

Try about 2 am. I would think it takes about 2 1/2 hrs to bowl 6 games. Why worry, hell the casinos will still be going strong at that hour.

We had that squad time back in 2000 I think...the tournament was running late and we didn't finish till 3am which was like 6 to our internal clocks.

WOW!!!!! 11:30PM, that's a late one. I had 7AM and usually that is OK( but in Reno it wasn't a whole lot of fun, but in any other city it is just fine), ( wait Vegas will be bad too) Early morning for me is very good for me, that way I have the rest of the day to do something

My team had the 11:30 PM start.  We finished Team the day before, and decided to stay up really late that night and sleep in a bit.  This way, you don't have to get up at 9AM and then wait all day to bowl.  You alter your internal clock a bit just to make the time more bearable.  We started at about 11:45PM for doubles, and we were done at about 2ish.  But, for those you who have flights out the next day and what not, you still have to go to the other casino to pick up your bracket money.  After all was said and done, I don't think I got back to my room until 4AM.

I had the 11:30 squad for D/S this year, and let me tell you it sucked, along with my bowling.  I was so tired by the time we started bowling that I couldn't stop yawning and my eyes were watering, etc.

Add the fact that no one bowled on our pair for team, so there was no breakdown.  Very tight just like the fresh we had in team the night before.  I think we were on 9-10 that night.  We didn't get done until almost 2am, and that was a little much for me.  I am not used to bowling at that time of night, and grinding through 6 games when all you can think about is sleeping was too challenging for me.

My scores reflected all of this, along with exposing my true level of ability, which was the inspiration for my user name here.
