Finally have my Nationals arsenal set
« on: May 25, 2008, 03:22:26 PM »
After much deliberation, I think I've finally settled on the 6 that will be making the trip with me.

The Break- 500 grit abralon
T Road Solid- 1000 grit abralon
Raw Hammer Anger- box finish, 2000 abralon
Epic Battle- smooth finish, no abralon, no polish
The Break Pearl- light polish
Ice Storm

Chose the T Road Solid over my Cell because the cover appears to hold a dullness a bit better than the Cell's does.  Chose the Battle over my Neptune as it is a fantastic control ball now that it has a bit of oil in the cover and isn't the hook monster it once was.  Still strong, but very even and predictable.  I feel confident, and like I have a game plan, but as Mike Tyson once said "everyone has a game plan until you get punched in the mouth."
How I handle those first few "punches in the mouth" the Nationals pattern hands out will be the key I think.  Will let you know how it turned out after next weekend.

I didn't need my Neptune at all for the nationals or RotoGrip shot..  Didn't bowl anything else, but I bet it could be useful for the 40 Framer..
