The OGRE-Urethane core takes the core from the OGRE line and encases it with a lighter spherical wrap. The core is then covered with a Hard Urethane coverstock. As always Visionary strides to keep its quality to the highest of standards, BUT, due to the extremely violent nature of the chemical reaction when pouring these balls, some small porosity may result. This is nothing that would alter the balls reaction in any way.

Likes: that's its a urethane, a new style urethane. different weight block, and coverstock. I use this ball on spares only, It doesn't get that dry around here! ball is drilled for max hook, it has not let me down yet! Last Monday i left the 3-4-6-7 split and like a champ converted it! For a urethane it has excepential hit! I'm going to try this ball, on a broken down shot, to see what it can do! Will post later.

Dislikes: can't cover my mistakes!

Likes: I love this ball, if the lanes are so dry you can't reach the ten pin; It becomes a great strike ball.

Dislikes: Hard to find on the internet, but a few retailers still have them.

I liked the Slate Blue Gargoyle, and this ball is even better. Not stronger really, but not as squirty in oil. Very smooth and when you get to that burned out condition, and is a great addition to your tournament arsenal.

Likes:  Simply put the ultimate spare ball.  Goes nearly as straight as plastic but with the big hit of the Ogre core it almost never chops pins like plastic often does.  Very predictable to the point I know I made the spare by the time the ball gets to arrows but occasionally ball will even cover for what I think is a miss.  Nearly indestructible (made of super hard urethane that also holds it surface very well) and a gorgeous ball.  My favorite ball in my 20+ ball arsenal and only ball that never leaves my bag for the closet or garage.

Dislikes:  A major PITA to find one and took a lot of patience.  Hard to find conditions dry enough (at least in my area) that you can use it as a first ball especially with my style.
