Ogre Particle question
« on: February 10, 2009, 03:41:57 AM »
If you have the Ogre Pearl & Solid and like what you get from both , how would you drill the Particle to fit in with the other 2.

Basically if you have all 3 , How would you layout all 3 based upon using them on a THS.

I have my Ogre Pearl drilled with the pin in ring finger 4' from PAP and cg kicked out with a weight hole in the thumb quad.

My solid i have the pin 3' from my PAP with the CG stacked below and weight hole in thumb quad.

I like the way both roll & react just looking for alittle more strength , So i think i will drill my Particle with the pin around 4' from PAP but below the fingers.

4 1/2 pin to pap over finger line and cg tucked no weight hole, this ball needs to retain energy or is DOA. Oob for me it had no hitting power left, polished right on box finish with Snake Oil.

getu,

What does the Solid do for you?  I am wondering if you will see enough variance between the Solid and Particle?????  I like the Particle to even out over/under and I did have a Solid and would imagine I'd see about the same ball movement if surfaces are close to the same.  Seems you would have some overlap there.  I see more differences between choice of Solid/Particle then Pearl then SS.

My solid has a strong arc. But its not as strong as my Glad solid or IM Solid I am looking for somthing alittle stronger then the Ogre Solid that has a simular reaction.
