JMO...... sixpack but a Raw Hammer Pain with juiced reactive coverstock is not comparable to an Ogre Urethane.  Not even close.

What's the old adge drill a weak ball strong and a strong ball weak?

yeah I know but I want the same type of roll while playing up the boards.I have a black hammer that's fairly early and smooth with the pin in center grip and a thunder flash drilled 4x4 that hooks alot off dry.I think this one I want early roll and not much hook if any, straight as an arrow would be good.the ogre would probably replace the hammer if all goes well.

SixPack,

One thing to think about with your layouts.  If you go 2 inches Pin to PAP and CG toward the center of your grip, the ball will need dry in the backend to keep it continuous through the pocket.

If you go with the CG kicked out and the pin under your ring, you should get a little more continuation through the backend.

Best of luck.

that true, probably not a good choice in lay out for this ball.I'll keep mulling it over and probably put something like a 5x3.5 pin down on one.

IDK,the more I think about it I still think 2" pin from pap with the cg in the center.I want to play very little swing with this ball and still have early roll like a hook out reaction but still have the energy in the pins.Thoughts???
BTW my straight game is very good but I seem to have very little opportunity to play it.

well the more I hear about this ball the more I think you guys are probably right,33/8 stacked sounds like a good choice.

I won't tell ya I told ya so.

I do think a  medium strong layout would work also for the stronger player.  Really depends on what condition you are trying use it on and your stats.  I just wouldn't drill it too weak.

what I call lite oli others would call medium and so on.I would like to use it when the black hammer starts up to early and probably try it as a spare ball, mostly the ten pin.every other urethane release this year sounds either strong or alot like my hammer.
