Polishing a Purple Ice Executioner...

Has anyone done it? Curious to what the findings were, since its a lighter load particle.

Even without polishing it my PIE was quite sharp when it made the turn.  

I recall using it on a wet dry condition to blend it out if played along the oil line it was a bit snappy.  It wasn't very rolly, good length and a strong finish.

I can only imagine it would be snappier polished.

Odd, because this is one of those special Visionary ball that I believe]/i] was not resin. I think the "pearl" was pearlized urethane. I'm not 100% sure. I think I recall Jason saying something to this effect.

Yes Jeff I also believe it was urethane.

I didn't keep mine for long, too long and snappy in oil, too early for lesser conditions.

The Midnight Scorcher blended out the wet dry better than the PIE did for me.

When I used mine OOB, it gave me a very bad reaction (might've been me). Anyway, I decided to try and sand it up to 2000 abralon, then add Hook-It (seems to work well for me on particle covers only), and now the ball is money. Definately like the look more with the cover like this.

PS...I drilled the PIE with a stacked layout if that helps.
