Red Sorcerer
« on: March 02, 2004, 05:50:19 PM »
Just picked up one of these in mint condition, label leverage layout.  My revrate is about 480-500rpms with a 17.5-18mph speed.  This is an odd reaction.  I'm guessing the cover is urethane, but it is so dull yet it clears the heads without a problem and gives a soft controllable arc.  The hit is amazing from this ball.  My question is do most visionary products offer the same characteristics as this ball?  Smooth, Predictable, powerful?  I've never used or seen anyone use a visionary ball so some company characteristics might be appreciated.

From the balls that I have used yes.  To be more
specific, whatever they say the ball will do on a given
condition it does.  I have not be dissappointed with
any of the balls that I have thown (Warlock line, Executioner line
and gargole line).

Nobody in my area had even heard of them.  I am glad I found them though.

The Red Sorcerer is urethane and the cover is very versatile, you can sand or polish it to tweak the reaction as needed.  I've recommended that ball to a couple of bowlers around here as their first ball because it is so predictable and controllable.  Both still use the ball and like it.

Ask Visionary to send you a copy of their catalog.  It will only have their latest balls but if you want/need information on their older discontinued balls, go to their website, http://www.visionarybowling.com/ and click on Closeouts, then click on Balls.
