I doubt it. Visionary is really anal when it comes to not letting stuff out before the offical release dates. I should have a report maybe in 2 weeks time. ball might be here by the end of next week. definately going to drill one tho.

Compared to most ball releases there sure hasn't been much said about this one.  It's been out a couple weeks now and hardly a peep.  There's one review on www.bowlingballreviews.com but the ball isn't even listed on this site yet.  

If this were a Storm ball we'd have been hearing about for weeks before it's official release date.

Anybody?

Shiv--It seems site isn't keeping up with listing balls.  Other_guy from DT asked a number of times to get the DT Vendetta Pearl listed with pic and info.  Some info. is listed with no pic yet.  

As far as the Violet Gargoyle I have too many that are in that medium range to get another one.  

I'll have a mini-review on the Centaur I got after I've used it more on a walled up THS later this week.

That's the hunch I have about this one too.  I like my medium stuff, but right now my heavy oil ball is a Granite, and my extreme light oil ball is the Slate Blue; so the reactions I get from the Gargoyle line agree with me.  That's why I'd consider taking a shot at this one if trustworthy reviewers like it and the price is right.

Well, you know the price is right with the Gargoyle line

My Violet came in while my driller was out of town, TDY.  When he came back, I was just getting ready to go TDY myself, so I never got it over to him.  When I get back from KC, I will try to get it over to him and have it drilled up but right now I have no idea of how I would want it laid out.  I was hoping to see a couple of reviews on it but it's been quiet so far with this ball.

I e-mailed buddies last week asking about this ball.  They said they have them available, just haven't got them on the website yet.

 Don't know what the holdup is.

Finally got my test ball last night. Looks really interesting with the color phasing.

Will drill it likely today or tonight, and report back within 24hrs.

My god lol this ball has a reaction i have never seen from visionary before.

For all of you saying" i don't need another medium ball" your going to be sorry this time. This by far is there best medium to light oil ball ever.

Color on the lane is specatular, and reaction and ball motion is a long clean move through the heads, and lots of flip on the backend. this ball just goes 45 feet and then flips sideways!! and it carries very well.

only problem so far is it really is best for a second shift condition maybe in leagues.

for longer oil it goes too long, and over skids. but if things start to go a little in the midlane this ball works the backends instead of starting up too soon.

I'm in love again.

oh forgot the important details. lol sorry had a few drinks tonight, cause canada won the worlds.

ok used this first on a fresh house shot and this ball was over skidding. house shot is 43ft. can't remember where the buff area starts tho.

but i had to lower my speed and straighten up from normally playing a swing shot.

Normally my ball speed is about 28kms to 30kms, so that was too high for the gargoyle on my home center's house shot.

I was tempted to change the surface after the first tryout, but said to myself that this ball was not designed for this likely.

grabbed a pair of lanes after the early league and tried it again. it was going coast to coast, recovering from as deep as i could go.

ball's carry and reaction was reliable and very good. like always.

So there almost still looks like there is a gap
between the Violet and the Granite.

How easy is it to adjust the surface of the ball?

For me 1500 would be alittle much on a medium oil ball.

If by any chance you play with the cover why don't you try
1000 or 800 polish.

The Gargoyle line up almost looks like this

What I'm getting at is there seems to be a big gap between the Granite and the Violet.  While the others are a little closer together.

Maybe another Gargoyle on the way?????????!?!?1??
