Visionary spare balls...
« on: October 19, 2004, 04:41:54 AM »
Does anyone know where they are readily available? Or do you know if Visionary is bring another one out? Doesn't matter which one: Red/Glow Amulet or the Gargoyle, just would like to have one from Visionary is all. (FYI: NIB would be really nice and preferred. )

When you've moved up, moved back, adjusted left and right, cupped, flattened out, have thrown everyting in your arsenal, and the pins still don't cooperate, just say, "Aw to HELL with it!", and throw the ball!

They're discontinued!  try e-bay or your local pro shops to see if any are in stock.

To anyone interested, I have a 15# NIB Clear Gargoyle and (1) 14# NIB [Blem] Glowing Amulet I'd be willing to sell. $100 shipped per ball.

Shout,

The manufacturing of polyester balls has been on a major decline.  The materials used to make clear polyester bowling balls here in the US would cost nearly twice as much as actually getting the balls made and shipped from overseas.  Most spare balls are produced in Korea and China, and to this point we have not had much luck with their quality control.  This has also been a problem with a number of other clear balls made for the larger companies, which is why you no longer see many clear novelty spare balls entering the market.

Doesn't look like you'll see any anytime soon.

I wish I could find a 16 lb Amulet.  I like the looks of it and don't really care for the clear gargoyle look myself.  So, keepin the old White Dot handy for now

TappaKegga,

Have you tried posting a Wanted topic for a used 16# Amulet?  I have had luck on this site in the past when I was looking for a specific ball.
