Visionary Website Temporarily Down

Posted this in case anyone else notices that the site will not load.

Tried to access the site today and kept getting weird error messages, like do you want to save this file, so I checked with Visionary and they said the site was down for 24 hrs to upload the new site.  Will be interesting to see what the new site looks like.  I hope they keep it simple so my old computer can access it easily.

Hello All,

We are currently in the process of upgrading servers and adding the new website.  It should be active within the next 24 hours, so please wander around the site, and if you see anything that is linked improperly, or typos, or just issues in general, please contact me at vbpadvertising@aol.com.

Just so that everyone is aware, this site was designed for browsers that are newer than IE6.  The site will still work for IE6 users, but will be very basic and will not have a lot of the features that newer browsers will show.

If the pages have a grey background, you will know that your browser is an earlier version that our site supports.  If however the background is blue, than you should have a new enough browser to access all the features.

At the present time, the discontinued page will not be up, but we will be adding it and several other pages over the next few weeks.

With IE6, I get the gray background, but some windows are blank.

With Firefox 3.5.5 I get an error message asking what I want to do with the file, save it or open it with some program I get to choose.  I tried choosing Firefox but it failed to open, so I am not sure how to view the site with Firefox.

Here is exactly what I see when I try to open the site with Firefox:

What should Firefox do with this file?

  Open with  (Browse button)
  Save File

Works for me and I'm using IE7 and Mozilla Firefox 3.5.5.

Maybe they are still working on the site because now I cannot open it with IE6.  I get the following:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Just updated to Firefox 3.5.6 and cannot open it with that either.

Seems to early to view anything if they are working on it now.   I'd wait til Monday and see what it looks like.

Site comes up with no problems on Internet Explorer 8.0. Nice update: Informative and easy to navigate.

Website is slick, looks good and is very easy to find what you need. I really like it, its not too flashy but definitely isn't dull. Good Job!

Hello All,

The site is up and running.  If you are still receiving the popup that asks if you want to open or save the file, you may need to clear your cache.  Mozilla and some other browsers, like to save all the stored info and open it from your cache instead of opening it fresh.

In Mozilla, if you go to "tools" and then click on "clear private data" you should receive a screen that has a series of choices.  If you want to keep your browsing history and saved passwords, make sure those boxes are not checked. Check the "cache" box, and hit the clear private data button on the bottom of that screen.  Once you have done this, you should be able to open the website.  

If you have done this, and you are still having problems, please let me know and I will try to figure out why you can't open it.

Site looks much better now.

Did you remove the section for retired balls?  I looked and didn't see anything.

We are going to have a discontinued section on the site, it just hasn't been completed yet.  I hope to have that finished and up soon.
