Firecracker
« on: June 28, 2003, 09:05:21 AM »
Hey everyone,  Bill Grant from Rio Rancho,NM here,   Just wanted to plead with everyone on here to come to, and tell everyone else, about the Firecracker happening here at Tenpins and More in Rio Rancho!!!  Check out www.juniorbowlerstour.com for all info!!!
Right now there are only around 50 kids signed up out of an expected 96!  So lets get Cracken!   (Pun intended)
The real reason I want you to come is because I am going to destroy everyone in MY HOUSE!  (no,  literally this is my house)
So come one come all   spread the word    and come get beat by me!    Thanks.

Actually I didn't even hear about it till like a week before, but it sounds pretty cool.   I did hear it was an extremely tough shot,  wish I could've been there. Maybe next year.

What up all? Yo, futurehallofamer, must be nice to have a big tournament at your house, even though I do not even think that matters. Anybody can beat anybody, anytime, and anywhere, so dont say your going to destroy everybody or whatever. So good luck out to you all. The SoCal one is probably going to be bigger anyways, and i wish i could bowl that one, but I cannot get the time off for work. Oh well, see some of you in St. Louis.

Representing the 909, this was B-Car.

FutureHallOFamer, your tourney out there sounds like a ton of fun, but I think I'd rather go to the Firecracker out here in So. Cali. Sorry ya'll only have half of your entries, but I agree with B-Car when saying ours might be a little bigger. However, I'm not going to say that I am going to tear everyone apart just because it's at my house, because I know these Cali. kids' tendencies where people will go off outta nowhere. Whichever ya'll decide to bowl, good luck.

Hey Platinum Bowler,  i'm just kiddin' around!    Even though we only have around half of our sign ups there is a TON of talent in the kids that have signed up.  So i'm actually probably the underdog for the tournament. I TOTALLY agree that it's really anyones tournament.
Kural,  sorry you wont be coming to the tourney out here,  love the way you bowl man.

And lastly, where is the So-Cal event gonna be at?  My Grandpa lives in So-Cal and that would be awesome to go to!!!!!!!     Any info would be great!!  Thanks guys

Hey, all the paper on the SoCal Firecracker Shoot Out says is that it will pay out $3700 based on 125 entries. But there are 4 divisions, so who knows how much 1st is.

Out of the 909, this was B-Car.

Sweet,  glad to hear (half) of the Riverwalk Patrol will be present in Rio Rancho!!!!   (In case anyone falls in the river.....      or something.)  See everyone in the morning. Good luck to all.

P.S.  The Riverwalk is in Laughlin!

WoW! Great event here!  Except for some lane breakdowns and NO air conditioning in a building crowded with people in the almost 100 degree weather!(until the last day when someone rented a HUGE "port-o-cool 2000") It was SO HOT in there! You shoulda seen all the little fans all the bowlers and parents had! It was crazy!
Congrats to half of the Riverwalk Patrol for winning the Main Event!   The competition was great! I'm glad I squeaked out a sixth place finish,in the main event, with some of the bowlers here! Also congrats to Philap for shooting the lone 300 of the tournament! (I still say the 11th was sloppy.  But hey, the carry was either unbelievably good, or unbelievably bad.)  And thanks to him for shooting it in the second chance tourney and not the main event! Thanks to all who participated and helped in the event.
Next stop  JNGC  see everyone there!

Winner of girls division was Amy Gates and I think she got 225?, it was somewhere between 200 and 250, she beat Katrina Gartin. But there wasnt that many girls at the tourny.
