Need a replacement for Double Clutch Pearl
« on: November 26, 2013, 08:41:39 PM »
Well tonight was not a good night!  My beloved benchmark double clutch pearl came back out of the ball return with a huge pretty deep scratch all the way across my track!  It may be able to be resurfaced, but its pretty deep.  So which ball in 900/AMF current line up would be a good replacement?  Or a good benchmark ths ball?

My other two balls are a columbia ransom demand and a train.

Options would be Solar Flare, Heat Stroke, Rip It, Vixen. If you are interested in a solid, the Grip It is pretty close numbers wise and would make a very good bench mark type reaction. You definitely have some options if you want to stay with a pearl.

Thanks for the replies.  I thought the solar flare would make a nice replacement.  But, I am trying to justify buying a eagle pearl as I have never thrown the break core balls. How does it compare to the solar flare?

Its a hair stronger down lane. I can usually ball down to the solar flare when its time to move with the EP and stay in the same spot.
