Anyone heard from user Iketown300 lately?
« on: October 20, 2004, 01:06:58 AM »
I have done serveral great deals with him but have not been able to reach him for several days. We both shipped balls out to each other on 10/13 and he has received his (I tracked it) and I still don't have mine. The tracking number he gave me shows the package has been in one location for 6 days. Its obvious he shipped it out but I need his assistance to call fed ex to find out whats going on. I have called them twice and got nothing..

Just curious if anyone has had any contact with him the past couple of days..

dirtbikebowler,

OK, the next time you talk to him, can you tell him to contact jkiser01 on br.com?

I still do not have my ball and I have still not heard from iketown300. He used to be on here several times a day and its been 3 days and no answer to any messages I have sent him. It "appears" he shipped a ball on 10/13 but I still do not have it. I need his help getting fed ex to find it.

Just called fed again and they can't find the package and can't do anything until 10/25. I still have not had any contact with iketown300 and If they can't locate the package by next Wednesday, I need him to do some sort of waiver so I can file an insurance claim.

Once again, if anyone knows of him, or talks to him on this forum, please let me know. I believe his name is Russell or Issac Brownfield and he lives in Lowell, Indiana. I have done several deals on here with him and hope this does not turn into a bad situation for us both..

Just my two cents worth. He seems to lose track of deals from time to time. About two months ago I paid him for a ball and waited two weeks thinking it was in transit. After not receiving it for those two weeks, I attempted to contact him and finally he sent me back a pm stating that my ball was coming from someone else and he would look into it. To make a long story short, he seems to like to do third party deals while not disclosing it to the buyer. I waited for two months before receiving a refund from him. It was always "in the mail." I had some help from Joe Falco and PJR300 on this site. They helped me put some pressure on him. Ike doesn't seem like a bad guy, he just seems to get involved with more than he can handle. Don't worry, you'll get you're ball, or at least a refund. He is a man of his word, even if it does take two months to settle.

Just my two cents worth.

mrfish,

Thanks for the comments. I have also done numerous deals with him but this one is really bothering me. He shipped the ball on 10/13 but fed ex cannot find it and I need him to file a claim on the ball being lost so I can at least get some money for the lost ball. They will not let me as the receiver file a claim without his authorization since he was the shipper.

I have tried emailing him, sending him numerous messages on this forum and nothing. No contact from him at all..

If anyone has an alternate way to contact this user, please pm me and let me know.

dirtbikebowler, where you able to contact him on aim anymore this week?

Thanks,

jkiser01

jkeiser .. I went back and checked on this guy IKE .. seems like a few months back there was a lot of GOOD THINGS said about him. Appears you are the SECOND in only a few months that is having problems. What ball were you getting in the exchange? Seems like you KNOW your ball was delivered .. leads you to believe there was sufficient time for HIS BALL to be delivered!

There is always the possibility the DELIVERY SERVICE had a problem .. BUT .. as you indicated .. the SENDER has to get involved .. and .. if YOU CAN'T get in touch with him .. that causes ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS!

One of the most important things is to keep the integrity of sales made via BR .. if we can't DEPEND on our members .. can you depend on ANYONE?

Please keep us up to date on progress of any kind. Thanks!

JOE FALCO,

I know he got his ball. I tracked it and as far as mine goes, he shipped a ball out on 10/13 and its been sitting at the same place since 10/15 and Fed ex can't find it. This is where I need iketown300 to get involved to call Fed Ex ground and file an insurance clain. I can't do it because I am the recipient and the sender needs to initiate that request..

I personally have had several very good transactions with this user and he used to answer my private messages the same day, but for some reason he has seemed to disappear for the past 5-6 days.

I hope he contacts me soon so we can get this taken care of..

OK guys, it now appears as though iketown300 is ignoring my messages and mails. I sent the last message so I could see when he read it and he in fact did read it earlier this afternoon along with the 4 or 5 other messages I have sent him. There is no doubt he knows I am trying to contact him and he is for some reason ignoring me..

Ike, if you are reading this, why are you not contacting me so we can take care of this? You have your ball and mine is lost and I need your help getting this taken care of. I am not sure why you have been ignoring me but I am not happy about this at all..

It now appears as though this deal is going south very quickly. I will keep posting updates on this situation as they happen.

I check the "save in sent box" myself so I know when people have logged in and read messages also.  Come on Ike, tell jkiser01 what's going on.  It's obvious now that you know there is a problem.
