I am the winner of a RAFFLE held by IKE on March 3 2006. The raffle had 10 tickets for $15 each. The winner could choose any NIB ball excluding LANE1 and LEGENDS! Being the winner I advised IKE that my choice was a TRACK MACHINE on March 12. NOTE: Ike never was in contact with me to advise of my winning .. I initiated the contacts!

There has been an exchange of Email's with he and I .. him making numerous excuses and me making plenty of requests for delivery. His latest note claims that he is at college and his SUPPLIER was on VACATION. He stated that the ball would be in the mail on April 5. As of today I have not received the ball .. a TRACKING NUMBER or heard any more from him.

Ike had run a NUMBER OF RAFFLES earlier in the year and at that time I started a posting to verify that the balls were being delivered. Apparently he was honoring all the RAFFLES and winning BR members reported satisfaction.

EVIDENTLY IKE has changed his position. I think he has NO INTENTION to make good this delivery. In NOT DELIVERING he has done me WRONG in that I did not receive something I gambled on and WON .. and it works out that he cheated NINE other members who were in the raffle buying entries in GOOD FAITH!

I have written numerous Email's to IKE and his responses lead me to believe he is NOT TO BE TRUSTED .. Even if I eventually get the ball .. the aggravation is NOT WORTH IT.

I suggest IKE be considered A BAD CHOICE to do business with from this point forward!

I would appreciate it if BR members bombard IKETOWN300 with mail asking: WHY HASN'T JOE FALCO RECEIVED HIS WINNING BALL FROM THE MARCH 3 RAFFLE?

Most drawing winners got their balls right away. There were a handful who didnt. Out of 29 drawings I believe there was about 5 didn't get their ball right away and Joe would make 6.

I am doing the best I can to take care of this for you guys. From now on, I'm only sellin/rafflin stuff i have, unless you want something and I will order it before payment.

Ike..

If this guy is your supplier and friend, why don't you have a phone number where you could call him and get an answer right away?? Waiting for someone to email you back is very frustrating for you and for Joe and Dpat..

One other thing.. I just don't understand why you wouldn't just take the money that you made from the raffles and buy the balls elsewhere if your "connection" can't come thru for you in a timely manner..

Ike ..I'm an easy going guy .. I can understand your explanation .. I believe you are sincere .. I don't believe you should be a SELLER!

If you have a shop and treat just ONE CUSTOMER like this .. your reputation is RUINED (unless you are the only kid on the block .. then you can survive). If you want to be in business .. CUSTOMER SERVICE is what sets you apart from others!

I don't care if this SUPPLIER sleeps with you .. it's no business of mine. You make a deal/collect the money and HAVE TO DELIVER! When you have OTHER PEOPLES MONEY you are obligated to PERFORM your SERVICE .. not at your convenience ..but .. in a reasonable time. MORE THEN TWO WEEKS to have a deal complete (or at least in the mail).. is NOT SMART and certainly not efficient. ANYONE who enters into a deal with prior knowledge of these expectations is a FOOL!

Thats exactly what I would like to know as well ? Why not just call the guy up and see what he has in stock ?

...and if its not not in stock, then take there money and buy the gear they wanted somewhere else. Problem solved & everybodys happy

Sure you might lose a few bucks buying it somewhere else, but these guys have waited way to long for there stuff..

Not a friend as in great friend but as an acquaintance that i know that I can get stuff from pretty cheap. I already have said I already sent the money to the guy the money to pay for your guys' equipment.

Actually, I just checked my email and got a response from him. Don't know if you guys care or not and might think this is another excuse but when he got back from vacation he had a major problem that might cause him to go out of business due to one of his employees. Not mentioning anything to much in detail.

But he did say they were going out today and sending tracking #'s tonight. I will get them to you ASAP before i leave for league or in the morning.

I can't get too excited by IKE's most recent comment. The comment "it's in the mail" seems too much like comments made to Collectors trying to get payments from customers .. a GREAT DELAY TOOL!

I patiently wait for his advice defining the TRACKING NUMBER! Only then when I see a listing from the DELIVERY SERVICE will I have confidence that the ball is on it's way!

I stand firm on all the things I've commented on till now. I would search HIGH and FAR before I send anything of mine (equipment or MONEY) to Ike related to bowling transactions.

I'm not familiar with FEDEX .. does the shipper have to define the contents of a package when initiating the transaction? I was looking for something like that on the tracking but don't find it .. anyone have info on this?

Ike, Have been following this all along.

Just checked Fed Ex Tracking, both for Joe & DPat each one says 2 lbs., 1 package DPat has 3 balls coming and Joe 1. Whats up?

if the guy put 2 pounds down for each package, he is cheating fed ex big time.. when you have an account you can put down any weight you want to.. I was told they do periodic checks on the actual weight but thats it..

as far as declaring whats in the packeage, if you have an account, you don't have to.. if you ship it at say a Kinkos, yes you do have to state what is in the package..

Thanks for the info .. I'm totally bewildered .. have I been leading a SHELTERED life .. I can't believe that people do things like this! When I deal with people I give HONESTY and expect that in return .. I hope this is an isolated case and it hasn't become the NORM! I AM TOTALLY BEWILDERED!

If he has a "IN" with a person at FedEx then yes, they will list it at 2lbs and pay much, much less on the actual shipping cost. If not, then I hope it's a mistake because FedEx weighs everything when they accept the package.
